Overview

What one finished unit costs you, worked out line by line.

A materials library: pack price to cost per base unit. A bill of materials: quantity times cost, line by line. Packing, and shipping spread over the units in an order. Scrap and failed-unit allowances, which raise the cost. One result cell, with room for the SKU name, date and notes. Two worked examples, a candle and a hybrid, labelled sample.

Open Unit-Cost-Sheet.xlsx. Fill 02 with what you buy and what the pack cost, 03 with what goes into one unit, 04 with the packing and shipping, and 05 with any scrap. 06 is the one number, with its breakdown and room for the SKU name, the date and a note. The last page of the guide says where it goes in Lunith Commerce OS, if you use it.

It does not track stock counts, reorder points or purchase orders over time: it costs one unit. It does not log sales or work out what a channel kept. It does not sync to shops or accounting software, and it is not tax advice. Once you have the number, Offer Math turns it into a list price after fees.
